All Golden Fertility Idols are not created equal and there are as many versions of them as there are fans. This is my favorite version, call it an artist tribute. I wanted an Idol with depth and character so I created a version that I thought fit the temple sandbag scene. An artifact that had been sitting in a dark, dirty and moist environment, subjected to whatever nature threw at it. If you like shiny doorknobs made in China then you will not like this Idol, this is art, not a plated hunk of resin made by slaves. Please look at the photos, they are large clear files showing the look up close. It's shiny but it's not, it's weathered but just enough, there is actual dust where it would be, maybe a speck of dirt or a mineral oil drip from the cavern ceiling. There are multi-colored washes as nature has no limitations. It's all there in it's glory! This replica is hand rotocast in a nice wall thickness resin, hand shaped eye sockets hold premium brown eyes. I normally add a deep red felt bottom for protection, that is optional. Other than that the pictures serve as the description. I have done a few of these every year for the past 15 years so there are some out there that have been reviewed online, NEVER has a review been less than generous with positive praise. These do take me a while to complete as I take my time and do them right, not an assembly line. Yes they are an investment, I understand, I feel my price is very justified.
